Vader Air is led by our Chief and Commander, Phillip Walker a native born South Central Angelino, with over 40 years of experience attributed to his days during Vietnam in the Flight Line Mechanical Shop of the United States Air Force working on Air Conditioning, Generator Sets and Ground Power Equipment; as a Field Equipment Technician with SCRTD (Southern California Rapid Transit Dist.), and Superintendent of Equipment Maintenance for the City of Norwalk. He and his wife Catherine have been married for over 40 years. They have two handsome sons Phillip II and Manual who help in the business from time to time (as an Air Force Trained Air Conditioning Technician and Mechanical Engineer respectively). Our clients are other Air Conditioning companies (who need technical assistance at times, we won’t mention any names), Dept of Homeland Security and normal Homeowners.

Phillip is a true lover of space adventure movies and the character of Vader as being one his favorites thus naming the company “Vader Air”. As a result, when calling for service, you will hear the “Imperial March” as our ringtone. As Overseer and Senior Technician, Phillip ensures that Vader Air’s quality of service are of the highest standard to Military Specification. He is Military Trained to avoid and reject short cuts (which result in Sub-Standard results). As an Air Force General of the 15th Mechanical Squadron once said, if we engage in “Short Cuts, we might all be speaking Russian in the very near future”!
